The event will take place in London from March 23-March 24, 2010.
This unique competition will be comprised of 24 poker players (looking in my crystal ball, I’d say most if not all of them will be women). Women’s World IV has a $3000 buy-in, and a guaranteed prize pool of $72K. Its final table will seat six.
Already committed to this exciting affair are Team PartyPoker.com’s Annette Obrestad and Kara Scott. Joining these two women will be Women’s World Open III winner, Aisling Collins and that same tournament’s runner up Kim Wooka.
I predict two factors will make this event memorable: for one – Aisling Collins’ admirable performance this past year earned her a celeb-level supporter in Annette Obrestrad. This year, Aisling and Annette square off.
